Kinetic by Windstream sets stage for historic cemetery fundraising

A significant contribution toward the continuation of the preservation and restoration work at the Old Clarkesville Cemetery is now recorded as the lead gift in a fundraising campaign. 
Kinetic by Windstream made a $2,500 contribution on Nov. 11. 
Accepting on behalf of the cemetery were members of the Historic Clarkesville Cemetery Preservation Inc. board of directors, including fundraising committee chair Diane B. Brown. 
“We are delighted to accept this initial corporate contribution,” Brown said. “We look forward to partnering with additional community businesses, organizations and individuals as we move forward with the important work of restoring this community landmark.”
J. Berkshire, Kinetic by Windstream President of Operations presented the check to the board. 
“Kinetic by Windstream is honored to be a part of helping support the restoration of the Old Clarkesville Cemetery,” Berkshire said. “The work of the cemetery board pays tribute to our community founders.”
