Calvin J. Hanks

The headstone that marks the grave of Calvin Hanks is thought to be among the earliest in the Old Clarkesville Cemetery.
Born Jan. 18, 1808, Hanks was a lawyer in Clarkesville. He was murdered on Aug. 15, 1834.
